CARPET STAIN PROTECTIONOur carpet stain protectant helps to guard against stains.
Why Chem-Dry Protectant™?
Did you know that many carpets come with a stain resistant already applied? Despite this, with time and with consistent traffic, the effectiveness of these factory-applied stain resistants diminishes greatly. For this reason, we created Chem-Dry Protectants™ to refurbish stain resistants in carpets and its ability to resist soiling and staining.
Chem-Dry’s PowerGuard Protectant™ is packed with acid-dye resistors to supply exceptional defense against stains. Plus, its specific polymer base creates excellent protection for solution-dyed carpets like polyester or olefin. Lab experiments confirm that PowerGuard® combined with The Natural®, outclasses all other protectants.
Chem-Dry Repel Protectant™ repels most liquids allowing you to soak up spills before stains can set in. Repel Protectant™ can be applied to all types of carpets as it coats each carpet fiber with a molecular shield. This shield boosts the surface tension of carpet fibers, creating greater resistance to liquid spills, dust, and dirt. This further prevents contaminants and stains from being absorbed into the carpet.
Chem-Dry Wool Protectant™ is a fluorocarbon, water-based solution designed to amplify a wool carpet or area rug’s repellency to soil and stains. Like our Repel protectant, wool protectant forms a shield around each carpet fiber to resist soil and stains. This safeguard allows most liquid spills to be removed before staining can occur, keeping carpets cleaner, longer.
We provide superior residential and commercial carpet, upholstery, and tile cleaning services throughout Pierce County, Washington including Dupont, Steilacoom, Tacoma, Spanaway, Lakewood, Puyallup, and the surrounding areas.

All bacteria results include use of sanitizer. Figures are an average across multiple homes. Hard surface bacteria tests were based on independent lab testing associated with EPA registration #s 84683-3-74771 and 70385-6; sealed stone and VCT surfaces were evaluated and bacteria tested include salmonella, influenza and E. coli.
